Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breast boneless skinless
  • 1 cup flour all-purpose
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 whole egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk buttermilk may be substituted
  • 4 cups canola oil for frying, need to cover nuggets

Directions

 

  1. Cut chicken into small chunks, bite size.   Whisk egg and milk and pour over nuggets.
  2. Combine dry ingredients and place in zip locked bag.
  3. Place nuggets in bag to coat and place in hot oil.
  4. Cook until golden brown or until chicken is completely cooked.
  5. Serve with dipping sauce or plain.

This recipe can easily be made ahead and frozen for use.  One the nuggets are fully cooked transfer to a baking sheet, cool, and place in zip locked bags for freezer storage.
