Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breast boneless skinless
- 1 cup flour all-purpose
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 whole egg
- 2 tablespoons milk buttermilk may be substituted
- 4 cups canola oil for frying, need to cover nuggets
Directions
- Cut chicken into small chunks, bite size. Whisk egg and milk and pour over nuggets.
- Combine dry ingredients and place in zip locked bag.
- Place nuggets in bag to coat and place in hot oil.
- Cook until golden brown or until chicken is completely cooked.
- Serve with dipping sauce or plain.
This recipe can easily be made ahead and frozen for use. One the nuggets are fully cooked transfer to a baking sheet, cool, and place in zip locked bags for freezer storage.
