Sweet n Sour Ribs

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 teaspoon ginger root
  • 2 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoon vinegar cider
  • 3 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup orange juice concentrate
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 can pineapple crushed
  • 3 pound pork ribs country-style
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions

    1. Place ribs in a shallow baking pan; season with salt and pepper, and top with onion slices. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
    2. While ribs are baking, prepare sauce: Combine all remaining ingredients in a saucepan; mix well. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly (about 7 to 10 minutes).
    3. Remove ribs from oven; drain off excess fat. Pour sauce over ribs. Return to oven and bake uncovered 1 hour 30 minutes longer or until ribs are tender.
