Strawberry Bread

  • 3 cup flour all purpose
  • 4 count eggs
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon ground
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cup strawberries frozen sliced
  • 1 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 cup chopped pecans


    1. Grease two 9x5x3-inch loaf pans; set aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking soda and salt; sift together into a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, combine thawed strawberries, oil and eggs; stir to blend. Add strawberry mixture to dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour batter into prepared pans.
    3. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans for 5 minutes; then remove bread from pans and continue cooling on wire rack.
