  • 1 package hot roll mix Pillsbury
  • 8 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoon sugar granulated
  • 1 count egg
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon ground
  • 2 tablespoon corn syrup

    1. To make Rolls: Prepare dough for rolls according to package directions, using water, 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, and egg. Set dough aside for 5 minutes to "rest."
    2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle nuts in pan.
    3. To prepare topping: In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, 6 tablespoons butter or margarine, granulated sugar, corn syrup and 1 tablespoon cinnamon; blend well. Add a little water if needed to achieve pouring consistency. Pour topping mixture evenly over nuts in pan.
    4. Form dough into a single roll; cut into about 20 pieces. Flatten individual pieces of dough into strips; then sprinkle with cinnamon. Roll up each strip of dough and arrange over topping in pan. Cover pan with a clean cloth and set in a warm place to allow dough to rise for 30 minutes.
    5. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until rolls are golden brown. Invert onto a serving tray.
