Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoon honey or raw sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/8 teaspoon cardamon ground
  • 1 count cinnamon stick
  • 2 count black tea bags
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup milk

Directions

    1. In a small saucepan combine tea bags, the cinnamon stick, and 1 cup water. Bring to boiling. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
    2. Remove and discard tea bags and cinnamon stick. Stir the milk, sugar, vanilla, ginger and cardamom into the tea. Cook and stir over medium heat just until mixture is heated through. To serve, pour hot mixture into warm mugs.
