Pepper Steak

  • 1 count pepper
  • 1 count salt
  • 16 ounce pepper stir-fry vegetables frozen
  • 3 tablespoon Italian style tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 can Italian style stewed tomatoes
  • 1 pound beef round steak boneless


    1. Trim fat from meat. Cut meat into 4 serving size pieces; sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper.
    2. In a large skillet brown meat on both sides in hot oil. Transfer meat to a 3 1/2 or 4 quart crockpot.
    3. In a medium bowl stir together undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, and Worcestershire sauce; pour over meat in cooker. Top with frozen stir-fry vegetables.
    4. Cover and cook on low heat for 10 to 12 hours or on high for 5 to 6 hours, or until meat and vegetables are tender.
