Spaghetti Sauce Italiano

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce Italian sausage
  • 1 count salt
  • 1 count bay leaf
  • 1 count garlic
  • 8 ounce spaghetti
  • 8 ounce tomato sauce
  • 4 ounce mushrooms stems and pieces
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoon tapioca quick cooking
  • 1/2 cup green pepper
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 4 ounce ground beef

Directions

    1. In a skillet cook sausage, ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat.
    2. Meanwhile, in a 3 1/2 to 4 quart crockpot combine undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, mushrooms, sweet pepper, tapioca, bay leaf, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt. Stir in meat mixture.
    3. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours or high for 4 to 5 hours. Discard bay leaf. Serve over hot spaghetti.
