Tomato Sauced Pork Ribs

Ingredients

  • 1 count garlic
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 3 cup noodles
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 count celery
  • 2 pound pork ribs
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon fresh basil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoon tapioca quick cooking
  • 1 can tomatoes crushed
  • 3/4 cup green pepper

Directions

    1. Chop celery, green pepper, and onion. For sauce, in a 3 1/2 or 4 quart crockpot combine undrained tomatoes, celery, sweet pepper, onion, tapioca, sugar, dried basil (if using), salt, black pepper, hot pepper sauce, and minced garlic. Add ribs; stir to coat ribs with sauce.
    2. Cover and cook on low heat for 8 to 10 hours or high for 4 to 5 hours.
    3. Transfer ribs to a serving platter. Skim fat from sauce. If using, stir fresh basil into sauce. Spoon some of the sauce over ribs.
    4. Serve with hot cooked noodles. Pass remaining sauce.
