Broiled Crab Legs

You may substitute 1 teaspoon of crushed dried basil for the tablespoon of fresh basil.


  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 pound crab legs
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon peel
  • 3 tablespoon butter unsalted


    1. Thaw crab legs if frozen. Split legs open along the length using kitchen shears or a sharp knife. Place cut side up on the greased unheated rack of a broiler pan.
    2. Stir together butter, basil, lemon peel, and lemon juice. Brush crab legs with butter mixture. Broil 4-6 inches from the heat for 3-4 minutes or until heated through.
