Egg and Sausage Breakfast Dish

NOTE: Bake in a greased 9x13 inch pan.


  • 1 teaspoon mustard prepared
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1/2 pound sausage
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 6 slice white bread
  • 8 ounce cheese spread processed
  • 4 count eggs
  • 1/2 cup pepper red or green sweet
  • 1/2 cup onion


    1. Grease a 9x9 inch baking pan; set aside.
    2. Brown sausage in a skillet; drain off excess fat.
    3. Cut bread and cheese into 1-inch cubes.
    4. Layer sausage, cheese (cubed), peppers, and onions over bread.
    5. In a mixing bowl, lightly beat eggs. Add milk, mustard and salt to eggs. Pour mixture over layered ingredients. Let stand for about 15 minutes before baking. This can be covered and refrigerate for up to 12 hours.
    6. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes; then uncover and bake 30 minutes longer. Remove from oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
