Key West Chowder

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cup celery
  • 2 cup carrots
  • 4 cup water
  • 4 teaspoon bouillon chicken
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 cup half and half
  • 1 teaspoon seafood seasoning Old Bay
  • 1 pound seafood assorted cooked shrimp, scallops, crab
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup green onions

Directions

    1. Saute onions in butter and flour and stir 2 minutes over medium heat.
    2. Gradually add half n half, stirring another 2 minutes. Set aside.
    3. Bring carrots and celery to a boil in water and bouillon. Cook until tender. Add cream mixture, seasoning and seafood. Heat through. Garnish with parsley.
