Baked Brie

  • 1/2 cup almonds sliced
  • 8 ounce brie cheese
  • 2 tablespoon butter or margarine


    1. Place butter or margarine in a 9 inch microwave safe pie plate. Microwave on High for 30-40 seconds or until butter or margerine melts.
    2. Add almonds and stir to coat. Microwave on High for 3 to 4 minutes or until almonds are golden brown, stirring every 2 minutes.
    3. Place cheese in a decorative microwave-safe glass dish. Spoon browned almonds over top. Microwave on medium (50% power) for 30-40 seconds to warm through.
    4. Serve with crackers and rye crisps.
