  • 1 pound sausage hot
  • 1 count hot roll mix Pillsbury
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 count eggs
  • 2 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

    1. Prepare hot roll dough according to package instructions. Set dough aside to rise for 45 minutes.
    2. Combine sausage and onion in a skillet; cook until done, but do not brown. Drain off excess fat. Add all remaining ingredients except butter or margarine to mixture in skillet; cook and stir until cheese melts. Remove skillet from heat; set aside to cool.
    3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
    4. Roll out dough to form an oval 1/4 inch thick. Spread cooled sausage mixture evenly over dough. Roll up dough jelly roll fashion; pinch ends together to seal. Form roll into a horseshoe shape and place on a greased baking sheet.
    5. Bake for about 20 minutes or until brown. Brush butter or margarine over top of roll after removing from oven. Cut into 3/4 inch slices to serve.
