Picante Grilled Prawns

Note: Peel and devein shrimp


  • 1 pound shrimp jumbo
  • 1 cup picante sauce
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 clove garlic


    1. Rinse shrimp in cold water; pat dry with paper towels.
    2. Thread shrimp onto skewers.
    3. Combine picante sauce, lime juice and minced garlic; mix well. Brush shrimp with sauce.
    4. Place skewered shrimp over hot coals or on rack in a broiler pan. Grill or broil 5 to 8 minutes or until shrimp are cooked through, turning and basting occasionally with sauce.
    5. Heat remaining sauce and serve with shrimp.
