Broiled Scallops

  • 1 1/4 pound bay scallops
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 count parsley
  • 1 count lemon


    1. Melt the butter.
    2. Divide scallops evenly among four individual oven-proof casserole dishes.
    3. In a small bowl or cup, combine butter or margarine, lemon juice, seasoned salt, paprika and pepper; pour mixture over scallops.
    4. Place dishes in oven under preheated broiler and broil for 2 to 4 minutes. Garnish with lemon slices and parsley, if desired.
