Grilled London Broil

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 pound london broil roast
  • 3/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup vinegar or fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard dry
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt


    1. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, vinegar or lemon juice, and all seasonings; beat with a wire whisk until smooth.
    2. Place roast in a plastic bag or covered nonmetallic dish, and pour marinade over roast. Seal bag or cover dish; refrigerate for several hours or overnight, turning frequently.
    3. Remove roast from marinade. Grill over medium coals for 15 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness is reached. Cut diagonally across the grain into thin slices. Serve with Horseradish sauce.
