Italian Meatballs

  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 1/4 cup water
  • 2 can tomato paste
  • 2 count eggs
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar


    1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, parmesan cheese, parsley, 1 teaspoon salt and garlic; blend well.
    2. Dampen your hands with water and form mixture into 16 meatballs (mixture will be soft).
    3. Brown slowly in hot oil, gently shaking pan to keep balls round.
    4. In a small bowl, combine remaining 1 teaspoon salt, tomato paste, hot water, sugar and pepper; blend well.
    5. Pour tomato sauce over meatballs. Cover and simmer over low heat for 1 hour. Serve over hot buttered noodles or spaghetti.
