Baked Bay Scallops

Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 pound scallops sea
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil dried
  • 3 tablespoon parsley

Directions

    1. Wash scallops in cold water and thoroughly pat dry.
    2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    3. Place scallops on a large, lightly buttered baking dish in a single layer and dot with butter.
    4. Sprinkle with parsley, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
    5. Bake for 5 minutes at 350 degrees.
    6. Stir entire dish to coat evenly with butter and herbs and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes. Do not overcook the scallops; keep an eye on them. Take them out when they are opaque.
    7. Serve over cooked rice or small pasta and cover with herb sauce from the baking dish.
