Sugar Cookie Recipe

  • 4 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla


    1. Cream sugar and butter. Add vanilla, then eggs.
    2. In separate bowl combine flour and salt and whisk. Add flour mixture to above. Do not over mix. Gather into a ball and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate one hour.
    3. Roll dough out on floured surface to a thickness of 1/4 inch. Cut into shapes and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 13-15 minutes (this will depend on how thick you roll out your dough) in a 350 degree oven. Do not over bake!
