Frogmore Stew

  • 5 quart water
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 4 pound potatoes red
  • 2 pound kielbasa
  • 6 count corn ears
  • 4 pound shrimp
  • 1/4 cup Old Bay Seasoning


    1. In a large covered pot combine the water and Old Bay seasoning and bring to a boil.
    2. Add the potatoes, return to boil and cook uncovered 10 minutes.
    3. Add sausage and corn, return to boil and cook 10 minutes longer.
    4. Add shrimp to pot, cook 3-4 minutes or until shrimp turns pink.
    5. Drain and serve with Old Bay seasoning, cocktail sauce and melted butter.
