Cranberry Nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 3/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 count orange
  • 1 count egg
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1 cup pecans

Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Juice orange and grate rind. Add only enough boiling water to make 3/4 cup.
    2. Sift dry ingredients and add to orange liquid along with egg and butter. Mix well.
    3. Add cranberries and nuts.
    4. Bake in a greased loaf pan for 1 hour.
