Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 4 cup flour
  • 1/2 pound Velvetta cheese
  • 3 cup potatoes
  • 1 count egg
  • 1 pint sour cream

Directions

    1. For filling: combine potatoes and cheese, set aside.
    2. Combine margarine, sour cream and egg. Add to flour.
    3. Roll out thinly and cut into circles. (the top of a glass works fine).
    4. Place 1-2 tablespoons of filling on perogi. Seal edges well.
    5. Cook in boiling water until perogi rises to top. Remove with slotted spoon and immediately place in dish of melted butter to coat. Place in plastic storage container.
