Baked Spaghetti

  • 1 3/4 cup grated romano cheese
  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 3 count eggs
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 3 cup milk
  • 6 count egg yolks


    1. Melt butter in sauce pan; add flour to pan, mix well. Gradually add cold milk, stir well.
    2. Cook until thick stirring often. Remove from heat.
    3. Beat the 6 egg yolks. After sauce has cooled 5 minutes blend yolks gently into sauce. Add cheese.
    4. Cook spaghetti according to directions on package. Rinse under hot water, drain and in large bowl toss with beaten eggs and cheese.
    5. Butter a 9x13 pan and put spaghetti in it. Pour white sauce over.
    6. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
