Baked Mashed Potatoes

  • 5 pound potatoes
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 package cream cheese


    1. Peel potatoes and cut into eighths. Cook potatoes in boiling water to cover 15 minutes or until tender. Drain well. Immediately add butter and mash.
    2. Add sour cream and cream cheese and salt and pepper to taste. Mash again to desired consistency. Place in a large casserole dish.
    3. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 10-15 minutes.
