Pasta Florentine

  • 1 cup cheese Ricotta
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup spinach frozen
  • 2 cup spaghetti sauce
  • 12 ounce pasta penne
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3 slice bacon


    1. Thaw spinach and set aside.
    2. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
    3. While pasta is cooking, cut bacon into small pieces and brown in skillet. Once bacon is cooked add onions and oil and saute until tender.
    4. Drain water from spinach, squeezing out excess. Combine spinach, ricotta, bacon, and onion. Add to drained pasta with 1 cup of heated spaghetti sauce.
    5. Continue heating on low heat as you toss. Add mozzarella cheese and serve. Drizzle with remaining hot spaghetti sauce. Top with cheddar cheese.
