Baked Pork Chops with Apple Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup bread crumbs herbed
  • 1 count egg
  • 8 count pork loin chops
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1/2 cup onion
  • 2 count apples

Directions

    1. Mix celery, onion and apple. Set aside.
    2. Salt and pepper chops; rub each one with worcestershire sauce. Dip each chop into beaten egg and then in breadcrumbs.
    3. Heat oil in skillet; brown chops. Place in baking pan with a tablespoon of stuffing mixture on top of each chop.
    4. Heat 1 1/2 cups water in frying pan to boil, scraping bits off bottom of pan and pour into baking pan, cover and bake 1 1/2 to 2 hours at 350 degrees.
    5. Uncover the last 1/2 hour. A large loaf pan works well.
