Maple Walnut Bars

  • 1 teaspoon maple flavoring
  • 2 cup English walnuts
  • 1 cup dates
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 count eggs


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degree
    2. Beat eggs well. Gradually add sugar and continue beating.
    3. Add butter, mix well. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together. Add to sugar, egg and butter mixture.
    4. Add walnuts, dates, and maple flavoring. Pour into 8x8" baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes.
    5. Cool and cut into bars. Enjoy!
