Blackberry Grunt

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • 4 cup blackberries
  • 2 count pie crusts

Directions

    1. Make pastry for pie crusts. Roll out and place on a cookie sheet. Score into diamonds. Bake at 400 degrees for 8-12 minutes.
    2. In saucepan, combine blackberries, water, cornstarch until thickened.
    3. Add butter and lemon juice.
    4. Break cooked pie crusts into diamonds and gently stir into blackberry mixture. Serve hot with heavy cream.
