Pumpkin Pecan Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 ounce sugar Confectioners
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 8 ounce cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 count eggs
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup pumpkin
  • 1 package spice cake mix

Directions

    1. Mix cake mix, pumpkin, oil, pudding mix, eggs, cinnamon and water. Beat about 5 minutes.
    2. Add pecans and pour into a greased, floured angel food cake pan.
    3. Bake at 350 degrees 40-45 minutes. Cool completely before removing from pan.
    4. Frosting: Cream cheese and butter. Add confectioners sugar, vanilla and nuts. Beat until smooth.
