Dish Pan Cookies

This has been cut in half. You can easily double.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup corn flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup oatmeal
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 2 count eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Directions

    1. Cream sugars and shortening. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well. Add vanilla.
    2. Combine dry ingredients. Measure corn flakes before crushing. If dough is stiff add small amount of milk. It should look dry but hold together. Roll into balls and bake on a cookie sheet at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes.
