Southern Living Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 8 ounce cream cheese
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 2 count eggs
  • 3 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 count bananas
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

    1. Cream butter and cream cheese.
    2. Gradually add sugar. Adding eggs one at a time.
    3. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add.
    4. Mash bananas and add to above. Add chopped pecans and vanilla. Mixing well.
    5. Pour into 2 greased bread pans and bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Shield with foil if top starts to brown. Check with toothpick for done-ness.
