Fresh Strawberry Pie

If using large berries you may want to half.


  • 2 pint strawberries
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 small strawberry gelatin
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 count pie crust 9 inch
  • 2 cup whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoon cornstarch


    1. Cook sugar, cornstarch, jello and water until thick; cool.
    2. Place whole berries in the baked pie shell.
    3. Pour sauce over berries and refrigerate.
    4. Meanwhile, whip the cream (I like to add a couple T. of sugar or sweetener). Frost or pipe the whipped cream onto the pie.
