Mushroom Barley Soup

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 count salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup barley quick cooking uncooked
  • 12 ounce sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can soup cream of mushroom
  • 2 can chicken broth
  • 1 cup sliced carrot
  • 2 cup onion yellow


    1. Saute diced onion and carrots until tender.  Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
    2. Simmer for about 50-60 minutes and serve.
