Fettuccine Alfredo

  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Servings: 4 servings


  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese or Romano cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/8 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cup whipping cream
  • 12 ounce fettuccine


    1. Prepare fettuccine according to package instructions. While it is cooking begin the sauce.
    2. Combine 1 1/2 cups whipping cream and lemon juice in saucepan and heat. Add butter and cook until melted, 2-3 minutes.
    3. Drain the fettuccine and toss with sauce above. Set aside.
    4. Add remaining cream, cheese and nutmeg. Continue to toss until coated and heated thoroughly.
    5. Salt and pepper to taste! Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
