Tomato Bouillon

  • 1/2 cup half and half
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 1 count bay leaf
  • 1 can tomato juice
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoon butter
  • 3/4 cup onion


    1. In hot butter in medium sauce pan, saute onion until golden -about 3 minutes.
    2. Add celery, tomato juice, bay leaf, oregano, seasoned salt, and pepper; bring to boiling.
    3. Reduce heat; simmer, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes.
    4. Strain, stir in half and half and serve (Do not let it boil after adding cream).
