Strawberry Ice Cream

  • 2 cup salt rock type
  • 1 large bag of ice
  • 1 1/4 quart milk whole
  • 16 ounce strawberries frozen in syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 pint half and half
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 can sweetened and condensed milk


    1. Thaw strawberries. Then mix first six ingredients together with a blender or a mixer.
    2. Pour into canister of ice cream maker and add milk.
    3. Start the ice cream freezer before adding ice and salt. Layer ice and salt. Allow ice cream to churn for 1 hour. Remove blade/dasher and allow to ripen for at least 1 full hour.
