Peach Praline Pie

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 count pie shell 9 inch
  • 2 tablespoon tapioca quick cooking
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cup peaches fresh
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour


    1. Chop pecans and combine with flour, brown sugar, and butter; set aside.
    2. Toss peaches (peeled and sliced) with sugar, tapioca, and lemon juice.
    3. Place half of the pecan mixture in the bottom of the unbaked pie shell and layer peaches over it. Top with remaining pecan mixture.
    4. Bake at 425 degrees for about 10 minutes, lower temperature to 375 degrees and continue baking for about 20 minutes or until bubbly. Cool on a rack and serve.
