Tomato Basil Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 medium onion
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 ounce thin spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup vinegar red wine
  • 4 medium tomatoes
  • 3 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil

Directions

    1. Combine tomatoes, basil, garlic, vinegar, oil, and onion. Set aside.
    2. Cook spaghetti with salt according to instructions. When spaghetti is completely cooked, remove from heat, drain, and rinse in cold water.
    3. Toss spaghetti with the tomato mixture and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes. Serve with Parmesan cheese.
